The YFC Awards take place as part of the launch celebrations for National Schools Film Week when over 5,000 school children attend a range of free screenings and events taking place in London West End Cinemas.

The week itself runs from 15th - 19th October in England, Wales and N Ireland, 29th October - 2nd November in Scotland.

Over 275,000 school children will enjoy some of the 1,750 FREE school screenings and events taking place in more than 500 different locations throughout the UK.

Some of Hollywood and the UK’s top film talent including Paul Greengrass (above left - Director, The Bourne Ultimatum ) Jane Goldman (above right - Screenwriter, Stardust) and Michel Ocelot (Director, Azur and Asmar) presented the 2007 awards.
